The Polymath Advantage
Why knowing more than one thing may become your greatest career advantage.Generalists, specialists, T-shaped careers, curiosity, and combining technology, business, communication and creativity.
Real-world learning that helps students think better, lead earlier and navigate careers in a world being transformed by AI.
The philosophy
Technical knowledge and academic credentials matter. But careers are increasingly shaped by something broader—the ability to think critically, communicate, adapt, lead, learn continuously, and connect ideas across disciplines.
As AI makes knowledge increasingly accessible, these distinctly human capabilities become more—not less—important.
The sessions bring those conversations into the classroom through stories, discussions, exercises, decisions, and simulations grounded in professional life.
Signature experiences
Generalists, specialists, T-shaped careers, curiosity, and combining technology, business, communication and creativity.
A practical conversation about AI, changing careers, human judgement, and the capabilities students should develop now.
Explore influence, ownership, communication, decision-making, and how leadership shows up in everyday situations.
Explore specialization, experimentation, changing industries, and decisions made without perfect information.
Stakeholders. Ambiguity. Difficult conversations. Visibility. Failure. Influence. Asking for help. Getting things done.
Build a career portfolio from skills, experiences, relationships, reputation, and adaptability—not merely a résumé.
Experiential learning
Students work in teams, receive incomplete information, make decisions, defend their choices, and experience the trade-offs leaders face.
Teams take control of competing companies, assign leadership roles, allocate budgets, and make quarterly decisions across strategy, research, people, technology, pricing, and operations.
Eight quarters. One company. Every decision changes the outcome.Teams balance AI investment, workforce reskilling, data, governance, automation, and customer experience while responding to unexpected events.
How do you adopt AI without losing trust, talent, or strategic focus?

The bigger idea
Sarin's broader work sits at the intersection of AI, digital products, and human leadership—exploring how organisations create value while technology changes the nature of work.
Beyond the Curriculum brings an education lens to that question: helping students develop the judgement, curiosity, adaptability, and leadership required to use technology well.
